Due to the terrible weather in Europe, my trip out to Germany was cancelled, but only after I got half way, to New York. This dryer in the airport reminded me of the awesome arrogance and hubris of us Americans, and made me feel less bad to be going back to San Francisco, to spend a lonely, boring Christmas. Oh well. At least I had an adventure with some old friends out in New York.
