Star Trek: The Next Generation

Finished TOS, now its off to TNG.

This city Farpoint in the first episode is awesome.
I want to have an office at the very tip of that building! And make it twice the size of the Burj Khalifa! And position the city in a sub-tropical part of the Ocean, to form an Autocracy called Gerhartia.

Gerhartians would be only those directly employed by me, or those with contracts to do business on Gerhartia. A private corporate power structure would be imposed with myself as CEO.

Subsidiary companies, acquired by my umbrella corporation, would collaborate in making devices that would vastly enrich the entire world's population, but which provide dismal returns that would render their creation and implementation unfeasible. By vertically integrating these companies and using technology to streamline the research process, as well as selling co- and byproducts to other nations alongside development, these end products could be reached, and profitable.

Timeline of end products, and co- and byproducts, as follows:

1 - Self Sustainable Dirigible (The Ragnar Danneskjold!)

  • Lightweight, rigid, high-tensile, growable material
  • Lightweight, flexible, high tensile, solar fabric
  • Water to Hydrogen/ oxygen converters
  • Waste recycling (to compost? feul? water?)
  • Energy efficient Hydrogen engines
  • Highly efficient Agricultural green house
  • Lightweight, transparent, solar material
  • Autonomous navigation and life support systems (and their accompanying computer systems) & (multi-vehicle collaborative "hivemind")
  • Battery/feul cell technology
  • Satellite-less global communications (mini satellites?  using boson particles for communication?)

2 - Self Sustainable Corporate Buildings & Factories
  • Lightweight, rigid, high-tensile, growable material
  • Quick large scale building (growing, printing, etc)
  • Energy efficient designs, adapting to environment
  • Power generation (geothermal, solar, wind, nuclear fusion, zeropoint energy)
  • Waste management and recycling systems
  • satellite less global communications
  • Battery/feul cell technology
  • Water purifiers
  • autonomous manufacturing machines and systems
  • Employee training initiatives and continued education
  • Continually advancing security systems

3 - Self Sustainable Island City (Gerhartia!)
  • Super large scale quick building
  • Super high pressure Lightweight, rigid, high-tensile, growable material
  • Energy efficient designs, adapting to environment
  • Power generation (geothermal, solar, wind, nuclear fusion, zeropoint energy)
  • Waste management and recycling systems
  • satellite less global communications
  • Battery/feul cell technology
  • Water purifiers
  • autonomous manufacturing machines and systems
  • Employee training initiatives and continued education
  • Continually advancing security and defense systems (biological, chemical, cyber, air, sea, land, space, nature)
  • Employees' children's school system (that works. Enders Game meets Hogwarts)
  • Efficient agriculture and food storage
  • Mass transport Hub (international)
  • Mass Transit (intracity)
  • Rail gun (for launching satellites)
4 - Self Sustainable Undersea Laboratories (Bellerophon!)
  • Super high pressure Lightweight, rigid, high-tensile, growable material
  • Low sunlight/nutrient agriculture
  • Water purifiers
  • Water to hydrogen / oxygen splitters
  • Power generation (wave, geothermal, fusion, zeropoint, hydrogen)
  • Life support systems
  • Employee health and wellness programs/ research
  • submarine vehicles
5 - SPACE STATION (Tiberius!)
  • Everything learned from before
  • Propulsion
  • Artificial gravity
  • 0-Gs Agriculture
  • Hydrogen + Oxygen to water combinator
  • Space suits
Hopefully, with the company being fully self sustaining and under my rule, we could even do away with currency, towards a fully collaborative and classless society moving us past what Marx called "prehistory".
But I dont care much for politics. I really just want to live in a blimp.
