I had to buy a replacement battery for my 3,1 Macbook Pro. My last battery lost most of its charge, and eventually would just turn off. I took my plastic hardcase off of my Laptop and this greeted my when inspecting the battery:
The dreaded exploded battery. I had to damn near pry it out of its socket. 150$ down, but at least my lap wont combust without warning.
